About Michelle
Michelle (she/her) was born in Bennington, VT and grew up in the upstate New York town of Hoosick Falls. She currently lives in Underhill with her husband and cat. She began studying yoga at the age of 16. This interest in yoga eventually led her to pursue a doctorate in physical therapy. She graduated from the University of Vermont’s PT program in 2012.
After graduating from UVM she moved to Junction City, Oregon for a physical therapy residency program. There she received training in manual therapy with some amazing mentors and had a lot of fun exploring the Pacific Northwest.
In 2015 she returned to Vermont to work at Evolution Physical Therapy and Yoga, where she united her passion for physical therapy and yoga. Since then has continued her studies in manual therapy, pelvic floor physical therapy, and the treatment of persistent pain. In 2025 she added another tool to her toolbox with the study of craniosacral therapy. She has also dabbled in the study of motivational interviewing and acceptance and commitment therapy.
In 2022 she realized one of her dreams in opening up her own physical therapy practice in Vermont. It is with an open mind and heart, as well as this multifaceted education that Michelle approaches each client and treatment session. She is excited to welcome you as a client in her practice.
